At Alligator We Do More To Keep Your Septic System Functioning

Septic tank pumping alone is not usually enough to remove years of sludge build up inside of the tank. At Alligator we recommend pumping and pressure washing to remove any sludge or debris inside the tank. As we are pumping we add high pressure water to breakdown and stir up the sludge and debris so the vacuum can suck it up into the truck.

Benefits of a complete septic tank cleaning:

  1. Your drain field will last far longer - By removing all the sludge build up inside the tank every couple of years the drain field will be draining relatively clear liquid well treated liquid.

  2. Extending the life of your tank - Sludge damages concrete tank bottoms, by thoroughly removing the sludge every couple years damage to tank is mitigated.

A Brief Overview of Septic Tank Cleaning.

We call 30 minutes before arriving. A technician will arrive in a large vac truck capable of getting any septic tank clean.

We will either find manhole covers to the surface or use a probe to find the tank.

We open the manhole cover or dig up the septic tank lid.

A check of the tank and drain field condition is important: We will stick a shovel into the tank to check the sludge level and check the liquid level in the tank.

Pumping and cleaning the septic tank, we usually recommend pumping and pressure washing to thoroughly remove sludge build up.
